People Like To Punch A.J. Pierzynski
See the 2:20 mark of the Royals-White Sox fight as someone takes a shot at the White Sox catcher.
Oh, and Ozzie claims the beaning wasn't on purpose - though sometimes he does do it on purpose. Smart guy, that Ozzie.

I absolutely loved the righteous indignation coming from Guillen and White Sox fans this morning...1. "We didn't throw at him on purpose!" Yeah, three straight pitches near the batter's head on a day when your pitching staff was getting their asses kicked for the second straight game was *purely* coincidental. I'm sure that's how Sox fans would feel if the situation had been reversed, right?2. "We didn't hit the guy who tried to bunt with a six-run lead."Nor should you have, considering you almost came back from a six-run deficit *the day before* and did come back to win after being down six during your previous visit to KC. You going to concede the game in the fifth inning, Ozzie? No? Then why the fuck should KC stop trying to score?3. "It's payback for us getting hit five times in the last series against KC." (Sox fan whine this a.m.)Of course, Sox pitchers hit three KC batters and just missed plunking a fourth, so one might argue this goes both ways. 4. A.J.: "Our team doesn't play that way." Thank you, so much, A.J. Why, a lecture from the dirtiest player in baseball about how clean his team plays will surely straighten things out!
