Bill Plaschke Can't Write
Bill Plaschke demonstrates once again why he is the world's worst sportswriter, this time with a horribly contrived column on why the Dodgers and Angels will meet in the World Series. Starting with:
Mile 1: The Dodgers open against a Chicago Cubs team that hasn't won a World Series in 100 years and will mess it up again. You know it, I know it, and, most important, they know it.
I don't quibble with the Cubs bashing, though he's not very far out on a limb, is he? I quibble with the column and the undreadableness of it. Terrible. Read the whole thing. Or at least try. Plaschke is simply unreadable. Impossible to read. Can't. Be. Read.
FJM is the gold standard of Plaschke monitoring. Full coverage here.

I second FJM. Ken Tremondous is fantastic.

This can lead to pressure on places, and make it difficult to find a suitable venue at short notice.
