The Cubs are hiring a new marketing guy today, and it's his job to slap some ads up around the old ball yard:
"Revenue growth is critical to the future success of this club, and we're going to be looking at all different elements to do that while still preserving the Wrigley Field purity that everyone's used to," Hayward said. "We need to be more creative, more innovative, to generate more revenue so we can help on the player side [by being able to afford to] build a winner on the field and preserve Wrigley."
If it brings in enough money, they can turn Wrigley into Bushwood for all I care. One move they have already taken, however, is to block views of a casino ad across the street.
