Cashner Looking To Make Big Club In 2010

The TCU Daily Skiff interviews 2008 Cubs first-rounder Andrew Cashner about the upcoming season, and Cashner has thoughts of being in Chicago at some point in 2010 (to play baseball):

With some hard work, Cashner said he has a good chance to get his shot at the big show sometime this season, if not at the beginning.

"I've just got to make the team first," Cashner said with a chuckle, bringing himself back to the present. "Even if I don't make it, guys get hurt later on in the year, and I think I'd have a good chance later in the season, but I'm going to give it my best shot. I just want to help the team win and help them get to the World Series."

That's just crazy talk, of course. The World Series - not Cashner making the team.
